Discover Sepu Kangri: Tibet's Hidden Mountain Paradise
Known locally as the "White Snow God," Sepu Kangri rises 6,956 meters above sea level, making it the highest point in the Nyenchen Tanglha range. For centuries, it remained one of Tibet's best-kept secrets, accessible only to the most determined pilgrims. That is, until 2017, when the world finally took notice. Today, it's celebrated among seasoned travelers as a place where nature and myth intertwine, offering a rare glimpse into a landscape that feels both sacred and surreal.
From its perfect pyramid-shaped peaks to its sprawling glacial lakes, Sepu Kangri feels like a masterpiece designed by nature itself. The mountain's glaciers—often compared to ocean glaciers for their sheer scale—creak and groan as they shift, a haunting soundtrack to this otherworldly landscape. Below, the sacred Samu Co Lake shimmers in shades of turquoise and jade, its waters thawing and freezing in near-miraculous cycles tied to the Tibetan lunar calendar. And then there are the meadows: vast, green, and dotted with grazing yaks in summer, transforming into a golden wonderland by autumn.

The nearest town, Biru County, lies about 100 kilometers away, connected to the mountain by roads that range from smooth to rugged. While public transport is nonexistent, the drive through the Tibetan plateau offers its own rewards—rolling grasslands, distant snow-capped peaks, and the occasional glimpse of nomadic herders. For those who prefer to focus on the experience rather than the logistics, our Tibet travel agency offers tailored journeys that handle everything from permits to comfortable 4WD vehicles, ensuring you don't miss a thing.

Conclusion
As you stand beneath a starry sky, the Milky Way arching over those iconic triangular peaks, it's hard not to feel a sense of wonder. This is a place that demands respect—for its environment, its stories, and its people. And for those who seek to explore it with care and curiosity, the rewards are endless.

plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April
Hi! I would like to plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April (3rd to 10th ideally) to Nepal, Tibet, and, if possible, Bhutan. Do you think it would be doable? Based on what I read, there are some places/things to do to consider: Nepal: Everest Base Camp trek and the Annapurna Circuit, ancient temples, sacred sites like Lumbini, Kathmandu, Tibet: The Potala Palace in Lhasa and the Jokhang Temple. eventually the holy Mount Kailash or the high-altitude plains. Bhutan: Thimphu, Paro, and the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery. To take part in cultural traditions, yoga, meditation... Of course I am open to any recommendations you could make. For your reference, we are both based in Asia: him, in Bangkok and myself in Macau. Thank you so much for the information you could provide and, if possible, an estimated budget for your offer.
