This 10-day tour spanning Lhasa, Everest Base Camp and Namtso is a thrilling journey, showcasing Tibet's most compelling highlights.
Starting in sacred Lhasa, you'll travel west to Tingri—the access point to the Everest area—passing glaciers, lakes, farmlands, villages and monasteries en route to Everest Base Camp in the Himalayas. There, you can witness stunning sunrises, sunsets and starlit skies at this high-altitude wonderland.
The itinerary then takes you to Bange via the vast, pristine Changtang Plateau grasslands, followed by the unforgettable northern shore of Namtso.
Beyond a cross-plateau overland trip, this is an immersive experience that combines Tibet's breathtaking natural landscapes with its profound cultural heritage.

Welcome to Lhasa, upon arrival in Lhasa, our guide and driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in downtown Lhasa via one-hour expressway drive (70 km). After checking in, we recommend you take some time to rest and acclimatize to the altitude to ensure a smooth start to your journey.

Today, you'll visit two iconic monasteries in Lhasa, Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. Delve deep into the profound teachings of Tibetan Buddhism and immerse yourself in the quiet, meaningful daily routines of Tibetan monks.
Today, you'll explore two of Lhasa's most important monasteries. Visit Drepung Monastery, once the largest monastery in Tibet, known for its historical significance and beautiful architecture. Walk through its halls, prayer rooms, and monastic kitchens, where Buddhist traditions continue to thrive.
In the afternoon, visit Sera Monastery, best known for its unique monk debates, where monks engage in animated discussions in the courtyard, using expressive gestures to challenge each other's philosophical viewpoints. (Debates are held Monday to Saturday at 3:00 PM, except on Sundays.)

Today's highlights: the UNESCO-listed Potala Palace; Jokhang Temple, Tibet's holy site ; and a leisurely stroll along Barkhor Street, where pilgrims spin prayer wheels as they perform their sacred kora.
Begin your day with a visit to Potala Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the former winter residence of the Dalai Lama. As you climb its 365 steps, admire its grand halls, ancient murals, sacred Buddha statues, and breathtaking views over Lhasa.
Next, visit Jokhang Temple, Tibet's most sacred pilgrimage site, where the 12-year-old Shakyamuni Buddha statue is enshrined. Then, take a walk along Barkhor Street, a vibrant market where Tibetan pilgrims perform kora (ritual circumambulation), spinning prayer wheels as they walk.

BreakfastDay 4: Lhasa-Gyatse-Shigatse
Leave Lhasa for Shigatse, stop at sacred turquoise Yamdrok Lake and waterfall-like Karola Glacier, plus Lake Manla and ancient Gyantse town along the way.
Depart Lhasa and head towards Shigatse, stopping at two of Tibet's most spectacular natural wonders. Visit Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet's three sacred lakes, renowned for its dazzling turquoise waters.
Continue to Karola Glacier, where the massive glacier tongue extends down towards the roadside like a frozen waterfall. Along the way, we will pass Lake Manla and the ancient town of Gyantse, before reaching Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet.

Breakfast,午餐Day 5: Shigatse-Everest Base Camp
After breakfast, you'll drive to Everest. Stop at Gyawula Pass for Himalayan views, then get to EBC to see Everest's north face and sunset, if the weather allows.
After breakfast, embark on a breathtaking journey toward Mount Everest, the world's highest peak. As we drive through highland landscapes, you'll stop at Gyawula Pass (5,198m) for a panoramic view of the Himalayan range, including Everest in the distance.
By late afternoon, arrive at Everest Base Camp (EBC), where you'll witness the majestic north face of Everest. If weather permits, enjoy a stunning sunset over the mountain, a truly unforgettable sight.
(During winter, when EBC tented lodges are closed, accommodations will be arranged in Basong Village or Zhaxizong Village.)

BreakfastDay 6: Everest Base Camp-Dingri-Shigatse
Early start for Everest's stunning sunrise, then head to Rongbuk Monastery after breakfas. Once you leave the EBC, make a stop at Xilin Viewpoint to gaze at Everest's eastern face and Mount Lhotse.
Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Everest, as the morning light slowly illuminates the icy peak. After breakfast, we will visit Rongbuk Monastery, the highest monastery in the world. This peaceful and remote monastery offers an unparalleled view of Everest, making it a perfect place for quiet contemplation.
After leaving Everest, we will drive to Xilin Viewpoint, where you can admire the stunning eastern face of Mount Everest and Mount Lhotse. The rugged mountain scenery here showcases the sheer power of nature, creating an unforgettable memory of your journey. We will then continue the drive back to Shigatse.

Journey from Shigatse to Bange across Changtang Plateau's pristine grasslands. Make a stop at a hot spring to refresh, and admire in the beauty of Siling Tso, the largest lake in Tibet.
Today, you will journey toward Bange, crossing the vast, untouched grasslands of northern Tibet's Changtang Plateau. This immense highland stretches endlessly toward the horizon, framed by sweeping snow-capped mountains and dotted with herds of yaks and sheep roaming freely across the open plains.
Soon after leaving Shigatse, you will pause at a natural hot spring-an ideal place to relax your feet and rejuvenate before entering the truly expansive heart of the plateau. As you continue north, the landscape gradually opens to reveal the extraordinary Siling Tso, the largest lake in Tibet, covering 2,391 square kilometers. From its shores, set at an altitude of 4,700 meters, you can take in the lake's vast, otherworldly beauty.Finally, you will settle into your hotel in Bange.

BreakfastDay 8: Bange-Dumxung
Today, you'll be utterly mesmerized by the breathtaking scenery of Namtso Lake's northern shore, including the iconic Holy Elephant Gate landmark.
The journey from Bange leads to the most mesmerizing moment, the northern shore of Namtso. Shepherds with flocks, distant snow-capped peaks, and the shimmering blue waters accompany you for much of the route. When you ascend to the high points of the northern shore and gaze into the distance, before your eyes, the lake is impossibly blue and mirror-calm, surrounded by snowy mountains.
After a 60-kilometer drive, you will arrive at the Holy Elephant Gate, where a natural sculpture shaped by wind and time rises before you, standing guard over this sacred blue expanse. After taking in its majesty, you will then continue across the wide meadows along Namtso’s northeastern shore toward Damxung.

Today, you'll end this wonderful tour with a refreshing traditional Tibetan herbal spa.
