Tibet Nepal Combined Tour vs Separate Trips
Traveling from Tibet to Nepal is remarkably straightforward, facilitating easy cross-border journeys. For those seeking speed, direct flights from Kathmandu to Lhasa take as little as 1.5 hours, soaring over the majestic Himalayas. Alternatively, land travel offers a scenic adventure: a few hours' drive from Kathmandu effortlessly reaches Gyirong Port in Tibet, allowing travelers to soak in the changing landscapes at a leisurely pace. This seamless connectivity has skyrocketed the popularity of Tibet-Nepal Combined Tours, enabling visitors to experience the best of both worlds—Tibet's spiritual monasteries and Nepal's vibrant Hindu traditions—within a single journey. However, separate trips to either destination hold unique allure, and when choosing between options, consider the pros and cons to make the best choice.

Combined Tibet-Nepal Tour Can Streamline Your Itinerary with Effortless Border Transfers
Take our agency's tours as an example. Our 7 Days Lhasa to Kathmandu Overland Tour ensures seamless travel: after your Tibet journey, we directly transfer you to your designated hotel in Kathmandu by private vehicle, handling all cross-border formalities for you. For the 8 Days Kathmandu to Lhasa Overland with EBC Tour, we pick you up in Kathmandu and guide you through Gyirong Valley, offering stunning views of Everest Base Camp en route to Lhasa. Both Lhasa and Kathmandu, as capital cities, provide convenient international flight connections, allowing you to easily continue your next adventure or return home.

Combined Tibet-Nepal Tour Can Maximize Your Savings
If you're planning to travel from Kathmandu to Lhasa, you might be surprised to find that the cheapest flight can cost over $270. However, our travel agency offers an exceptional alternative. Our 8 Days Kathmandu to Lhasa Overland with EBC Tour package includes the transportation from Kathmandu to Tibet. The entire Tibet package starts at around $1,020, making it a more affordable option compared to flying. Additionally, our 7 Days Lhasa to Kathmandu Overland Tour is priced at $940. For just an extra $60 per person, you can enjoy a private transfer from Gyirong Port to your designated hotel in Kathmandu. This is not only cheaper than flying but also more convenient than arranging your own transportation. By choosing our travel packages, you can save money while still experiencing the incredible journey from Kathmandu to Lhasa and back.

Separate Trips to Tibet and Nepal: Unmatched Freedom & Deeper Cultural Immersion
Solo expeditions to Nepal allow for deep dives into its trekking trails, like the Annapurna Circuit, while exclusive Tibet tours provide immersive encounters with ancient Buddhist rituals and untouched high-altitude scenery. Note that Tibet requires Tibet Travel Permit, demanding at least one month's advance booking for tours. This upfront planning means last-minute changes to your Tibet itinerary can be challenging.
Conclusion
If you're still unsure about what to decide, our travel agency can offer personalized suggestions based on your individual circumstances. Please contact us.

plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April
Hi! I would like to plan a 7-8days trip for me and my boyfriend in April (3rd to 10th ideally) to Nepal, Tibet, and, if possible, Bhutan. Do you think it would be doable? Based on what I read, there are some places/things to do to consider: Nepal: Everest Base Camp trek and the Annapurna Circuit, ancient temples, sacred sites like Lumbini, Kathmandu, Tibet: The Potala Palace in Lhasa and the Jokhang Temple. eventually the holy Mount Kailash or the high-altitude plains. Bhutan: Thimphu, Paro, and the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery. To take part in cultural traditions, yoga, meditation... Of course I am open to any recommendations you could make. For your reference, we are both based in Asia: him, in Bangkok and myself in Macau. Thank you so much for the information you could provide and, if possible, an estimated budget for your offer.
