1. How many days are needed for Tibet Nepal tour?
Well, it varies according to means of transportation and where you want to visit. For a classic Tibet Nepal tour by overland, covering Lhasa, Shigatse, EBC, and Kathmandu Valley, at least 7/8 days are needed. If you want to visit the EBC in Tibet and enjoy the round tour from Kathmandu to Chitwan and Pokhara, you need at least 16 days. 2. What's the best time for a Tibet Nepal tour?
April to June and Oct. to Nov are the most ideal time to enjoy the best mountain view with clear skies for the scenic trek and plenty of outdoor activities. Meanwhile, traveling between Nov and Feb is a great choice to avoid crowds in Tibet with plenty of discounts as to hotel and flight, entrance tickets. Jun to Aug. sees many fascinating festivals in Tibet with pleasant weather. It is a great time to soak up the distinctive festive vibes. Meanwhile, since it is the monsoon season in Nepal that often brings heavy rain, muddy road and landslide, esp. at Sino-Nepal border. So, traveling by air or Tibet train to Lhasa is highly recommended.

3. Both Nepal and Tibet have EBC, which is more worth visiting?
As to the Mt. Everest view from EBC, the EBC (5,200m) in Tibet is definitely more preferable, with the epic panorama of the north face of Mt. Everest. While the Mt. Everest seen from the EBC(5,364m) in Nepal looks less impressive given the fact that it is dwarfed by surrounding peaks. Meanwhile, the Gawu La Pass (5198m) in Tibet offers you a sweeping view of top4 highest peaks along the majestic Himalayan Range. 4. Should you start your journey by visiting Tibet first or Nepal?
Well, although both ways are acceptable, we do suggest that it’s better to visit Tibet first from cities like Beijing, Shanghai or Chengdu, etc. then continue your journey by traveling overland from Lhasa to Kathmandu. It’s the most classic way for Tibet Nepal tour and is much easier for altitude acclimatization.

5.What travel documents are needed for Tibet Nepal tour?
You need Tibet Travel Permit for entering Tibet and a Nepali Visa on Arrival to visit Nepal. If you travel overland from Lhasa to Kathmandu, an additional Alien’s Travel Permit will also be needed for visiting EBC. No worries! In remote places with extreme altitudes like EBC and Mt. Kailash, etc. in Tibet, the accommodation is very basic, and poor sanitation due to the lack of water.
