Tibet Transportation Options for Groups
Our travel agency specializes in crafting unforgettable group tours to Tibet, accommodating groups as small as two and as large as twelve travelers. The specific member number depends on how many tourists sign for this group.
Our travel agency typically offers a comfortable seven-seat or nine-seat minivan to groups of two to five travelers. Groups of six to twelve travelers are comfortably seated in a small or medium-sized tourist coach. With our small group Tibet tours, each guest receives personalized attention and care from our drivers and tour guides throughout their journey.
For groups of 1 to 5 relatives or friends traveling together to Tibet, I highly recommend choosing our group tour packages. These tours operate on a shared transportation model, where the travel expenses are evenly distributed among all participants. This approach significantly reduces the individual cost burden. In Tibet, renting a private vehicle for a day generally costs between 1,000 to 1,500 yuan. In a typical ten-person group tour, the daily transportation cost per person is approximately 100 to 150 yuan. This makes it an economical choice for budget-conscious small groups.
In contrast, opting for a private customized tour with a dedicated vehicle for a group of one to five can be more expensive. Even when splitting the costs among five people, the daily transportation cost per person can range from 200 to 300 yuan. Additionally, travelers must cover the driver's daily accommodation and meals, which usually adds another 40 to 50 yuan per person per day. Therefore, for groups exceeding five people, I suggest choosing our private customized tour packages with dedicated vehicles. This option offers ample space and the flexibility to adjust your itinerary as desired. It is particularly advantageous for travelers with specific requirements, such as the need to accommodate photography equipment, elderly family members, or young children.
Conclusion
It is important to note that foreign tourists visiting Tibet need to travel with an organized tour group and are not permitted to rent vehicles privately for transportation between attractions. All vehicle arrangements must be coordinated through a registered travel agency. Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities, and we look forward to assisting you in exploring the wonders of Tibet.
