How Many Days are Enough for Tibet Trip?
Tibet is renowned for its unique natural scenery, profound religious culture, colorful folk customs, rare animals and plant resources. As you know, Tibet is located in the highest altitude region in the world so a trip to Tibet will stand out from any other trip you have. Both the highest mountain and the highest large lake in the world lie in Tibet. In order to make your trip to Tibet without regrets, I’d like to provide reference for the duration of your Tibet trip.
The Short-term Tours of Tibet
Are you worried about not having plenty of time or not adapting to the high altitude in Tibet? Solve what you are worrying about by choosing the following two packages, which are the best value for money. Visit the most classic and popular attractions in Lhasa, Tibet with the least money and limited time. The average altitude of Lhasa is approximately 3,650 meters so you can acclimatise better.
4-Day Lhasa City Tour: You will travel in Lhasa, the provincial capital of Tibet the whole time. Visit Lhasa's iconic landmark--the Potala Palace, and participate in local Tibetan folk customs activities in Longwangtan Park under the palace, feeling the simple and impassioned Tibetan folkway. Welcome to the Drepung Monastery, the largest temple in Lhasa. The number of precious collections such as china of Chinese dynasties at the Drepung Monastery is quite amazing. Stroll across the Barkor Street--total cultural immersion. And the Tibet sweet tea of a dense flavor is waiting for you at Sweet Tea House. Watching the Sera Monastery’s debate and visiting the Jokhang Temple are bound to be a very unique Tibet cultural experience for you.
5-Day Lhasa and Yamdrok Lake Tour: On the base of the 4-Day Lhasa City Tour, the itinerary of Yamdrok is added. Plateau, lakes, snow-capped mountains, islands, pastures, hot springs, wildlife, temples are integrated into this natural scenic spot. Taking a walk along the clear lake can always induce a feeling of well-being. You can also have a good time picnicking by the lake. The Rituo Monastery, known as "the loneliest temple in the world", is on the shore of the Yamdrok Lake. You will visit the niche attraction.
The Medium-term Tours of Tibet
Compared to short-term Tibet tours, medium-term Tibet tours enable tourists to have more time to gain a deeper understanding of Tibet culture. Therefore, suitable for the vast majority of foreign tourists, whether the 8-day Lhasa to Everest Base Camp Tour or the 10-days Lhasa to Everest Base Camp and Namtso Lake Tour, is the most popular among all the tour packages.
8-day Lhasa to Everest Base Camp Tour: Travel among Lhasa, Gyantse, Shigatse, Tingri and EBC, going through white glaciers, pure lakes, tranquil farmland, beautiful villages, religious Tibet temples, to the depths of the Himalayas--Everest Base Camp, you will get a breath of fresh air during the Tibet trip. Besides the attractions that the short-term tours of Tibet include, there are additional attractions--Mountain Everest and the Tashilunpo Monastery. Go to admire the greatest natural wonder in the world.
9-day Lhasa to Everest Base Camp and Namtso Lake Tour: On the base of the 8-day Lhasa to Everest Base Camp Tour, you will also visit Namtso and Damxung. You will be amazed at the transparency of the Namtso Lake and the vast expanse of the Damxung grassland.
The Long-term Tours of Tibet
To fulfill your dream of exploring Tibet to the fullest, our travel agency offers long-term tours of Tibet. Here is my suggestion.
15-day Kailash Pilgrimage Small Group Tour: This tour covers almost all the top attractions in Tibet. It will take you 3 days to trek around the sacred Mountain Kailash. There are plenty of reasons to trek: to do physical exercises or cleanse the soul. When visiting Manasarovar Lake, you will enjoy this oil painting of the scene: The mirrored lake reflects the clear blue sky. This trip is possibly a once-in-a-lifetime experience to you.
Conclusion
Regardless of which tour package you choose, our travel agency offers the best service with all our heart. Looking forward to your consultation.
