Tibet Tour Booking Cancellation Policy Explained
Planning a trip to Tibet is an exciting adventure. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances might arise, which could potentially lead you to cancel your Tibet tour package. That's why we have a well-structured Tibet Tour Booking Cancellation Policy in place, and we're here to explain it clearly to you. Now, let's talk about our cancellation policy in case your plans change.
Once we receive your deposit, your trip is confirmed. If you need to cancel or make changes, please let your travel consultant know via email, phone, or WeChat. Here's what you need to know about cancellation charges.
Cancel more than 20 days before departure: No problem! You'll get a full refund.
Cancel 19 - 4 days before departure: We'll keep 30% of your deposit as a service fee.
Cancel within 3 days of departure: The fee increases to 50% of your deposit.
Cancel 1 day before departure: Unfortunately, we can't refund your deposit.
But here's the good news! If you want to join a later tour, you can postpone without paying any penalty. However, if your Tibet Travel Permit has already been processed, there's a $56 fee for the paperwork.
In case of inevitable situations like bad weather, political issues, or transportation problems, we'll refund your full deposit. Please remember that other potential losses would be on you.
Let's talk about what happens ff you have to leave early due to injury, accident, or illness after you start your Tibet trip. Here's how it works.
For customized private group tours:
If the whole group leaves: We'll refund any unused costs like entrance fees, hotels, transportation, and guide services.
If an individual leaves: We'll refund unused hotel and entrance fees, provided it doesn't affect the rest of the group. if you are sharing a room during your Tibet trip, we can't refund the hotel cost.
For small group tours:
As everyone know before joining that this is a high-altitude trip. If you have to leave early due to personal or health reasons, we'll only refund unused entrance fees and hotel costs. Again, if you are sharing a room during your Tibet trip, we can't refund the hotel cost.
Note: If you leave early or need medical treatment, any extra costs for transportation, guides, or hotels will be on you.
Conclusion
We hope this explanation is clear and helpful. We're here to support you and make your journey as smooth as possible!
